Could you be the Carbody Shell Manufacturing Engineer in Astana that we are looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical knowledge in a new cutting edge area. You will work alongside smart and diligent colleagues who are committed to excellence and collaboration.
You will play an important role in defining and validating detailed manufacturing processes, developing industrial documentation and driving continuous improvement activities. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with teams across the company (e.g. Production and Quality), solve technical problems in production, ensure process optimisation using lean manufacturing tools and much more.
You will be involved in particular in implementing product and process changes, as well as contributing to shop floor performance monitoring and developing work instructions.
We expect you to
- Defining and checking production processes
- Developing, modifying and improving work instructions and other production documentation
- Analysing production needs and identifying critical points in processes
- Optimising and improving processes using lean manufacturing tools
- Creating workplace plans (layouts) that prioritise ergonomics, safety and efficiency
- Taking timely action to resolve technical production problems
All about you
Passion and attitude are more important to us than experience. Therefore, we don't expect you to have all the skills you need. Instead, we've listed the ones we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metalworking, Welding.
- English language skills at B2 level or above
- Understanding of production requirements analysis and shop floor performance monitoring
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and optimisation techniques
- Ability to develop work instructions and other production documents
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Integrity, diligence, adherence to business ethics and corporate culture
- Familiarity with digital solutions to optimise industrial processes and tasks
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP)
