Could you be the full-time Logistics Coordinator in EKZ, Astana we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your talent in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to our Lead Logistics Coordinator Galiya Bekbossynova at EKZ, and work alongside passionate teammates.

You'll ensure timely delivery of all locomotive components. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (like Material Planning, Procurement, Quality etc.), perform analytical tasks and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of monitoring transportation KPIs, but also support expediting efforts.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Follow-up and help organize the Shipping and deliveries from supply sources (Alstom production sites, Alstom Cross Docking Warehouse, or external Suppliers) towards the EKZ site.
  • Help organize the relevant transportation means according to delivery dates.
  • Check and ensure compliance with international regulations and that of Kazakhstan, including Customs regulations
  • Monitor supplier commitment, deliveries and follow supplier OTIF performance at the platform.
  • Communicate Alstom Supply chain Golden rules and escalate when Sites/Suppliers are not respecting them.
  • Ensure the process with the 3PL managing international transportation is defined and respected, Monitor the 3PL performance.
  • Maintain permanent liaison with the various partners to ensure the smooth running of the activity and to the satisfaction of users.
  • Moves material assets to storage places manually or with the help of stackers and other mechanisms with their layout (sorting) by type, quality, purpose and other characteristics.
  • Maintain clean paperwork and regular reporting;
  • Fulfills individual official assignments of his/her immediate supervisor.

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Economics or Engineering
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and standard transportation documentation 
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • English proficiency - is preferable
  • Understanding of ERP architecture (e.g. 1C, Oracle, SAP etc.)
  • Proactivity
