MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  1. Monitor on site compliance with legislative and other regulatory legal acts on emergency situations (ES), civil defense (CD), and fire safety.
  2. Participate in inspections and technical condition assessments of buildings, structures, and automatic fire alarm systems, ensuring their compliance with normative acts regarding ES, CD, and fire safety.
  3. Instruct department heads on eliminating identified violations of ES, CD, and fire safety rules and standards.
  4. Execute orders from state oversight and control bodies regarding compliance with current norms, rules, instructions, and standards on ES and CD.
  5. Participate in developing site emergency response plans and safety declarations.
  6. Provide methodical assistance to mine units in compiling lists of members of rescue and emergency formations, organizing briefings, training, and knowledge testing of employees on ES and CD issues.
  7. Monitor the condition of safety devices and protective equipment, as well as the correct expenditure of funds allocated for rescue and emergency measures.
  8. Maintain records and reporting on ES and CD issues.
  9. Participate in the development of directives and other documents on ES and CD prevention and response.
  10. Develop normative, instructional, and directive documents on CD for both peacetime and wartime.
  11. Scheduling and conducting anti-accident drills / trainings in accordance with the legislation
  12. Conduct EHS induction, training for newly hired employees, visitors and contractors with a record in the induction training logbook.
  13. Supervises and assists in conducting pre-shift medical examination of employees.
  14. Conducting internal AZDP audit with development of action plan

 

Main Required Competences:

  1. Education:
    • University Degree in EHS or Industrial
  2. Experience:
    • 3+ years work experienace on a manufacturing site, or in state emergency / fire safe department
  3. Skills:
  • Good written and oral communication skills in Russian and Kazakh languages
  • Good knowledge in ER and Fire safety KZ legislation
  • Internal trainer skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Initiative and action-oriented
  • Team-player
