Could you be the full-time Junior Buyer in Astana we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical expertise in a new field. You’ll report to Procurement Manager Nurbek Turdaly, and work alongside diverse teammates.

You'll take part in sourcing spare parts for locomotive repairs project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Project, etc), leading negotiations with suppliers and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of the contracts' terms and conditions, businesss award process, but also support  existing contracts.

 

We’ll look to you for:

Supplier relationship:

•    Support global supplier panel relationship
•    Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
•    Monitor day to day suppliers’ performances and issues 
Commodity support on site:
•    Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs
•    Active participation in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
•    Represent the Commodities to projects, platforms and solutions.
Involvement in projects:
•    Coordinate project with all Metiers
•    Lead project negotiation 
•    Monitor sourcing project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)

•    Fluent English 

•    Advanced Excel skills
