Inductrial Controller (SAP user)

Purpose of the job:

• The primary focus of this position is to systematically set procedures for recording and reporting measurements of the cost of manufacturing goods and services in aggregate and in detail, this will also includes methods for recognizing, classifying and allocating such costs.
• Industrial controller will be providing detailed cost information that management needs to control current operations and deploy financial means, tools and methodologies to ensure that industrial efficiency and performance targets are properly followed at site level.
• Acts as a financial support and business partner to Sites Industrial & Supply Chain Leaders.

 Key accountabilities

• Coordinates budgeting & monthly reporting activities for the Industrial & Supply Chain Function.
• Monitoring raw material coverage and budget targets with Supply Chain Manager.
• WIP & FG coverage and monitoring with Industrial Planning Manager.
• Calculation of stock impairment performed semi-annually.
• Monitoring of NCR stock ageing and providing action plan on its closure.
• Follow-up of stock in transit ageing to be in line with lead time.
• Support warehouse to increase stock take accuracy, thereby ensuring that its under control and DOA properly applied.
• Ensure custom stock and ERP stock reconciliation on quarterly basis.
• Lead with Industrial weekly/monthly reviews on work order follow-up with root-cause analysis and relevant action plan, hours efficiency & productivity KPIs, duly control over open issues.
• Support Industrial & Supply Chain for financial matters and challenge on operational KPIs.
• Provide accurate data for work order/ service order and reconciliation as per Alstom accounting standards.
• Perform financial month-end closing (Controlling) with respect to Groups calendar.
• Perform ERP (GSI) monthly reconciliation between FI/CO/PS modules with objective to have zero gaps.
• Provide relevant monthly reports with analysis & explanations.
• Support FPM with material management work package review.
• Ensure reliable and accurate information that will support future audits.
• Ensure knowledge of DOA and implement proper controls, report & alert on inconsistencies.
• Act as a Key user for GSI controlling module

 Educational Requirements  & Experiences

• Bachelors degree.
• 3 years of related Finance experience.
• Previous Finance roles in Manufacturing, Supply Chain.
• Computer literate – MS Office and previous SAP experience will be advantageous.

Competencies & Skills 

• Capacity to go deep into selected matters & drill-down into a specific issue until full resolution of it.
• Ability to translate the needs of site & cluster into targeted KPI development.
• Must be able to handle pressure and work effectively as part of team;
• Able to communicate effectively across all levels, both verbally and in writing;
• Good problem solving and people skills.
