Could you be the full-time  Certification Engineer in Astana we’re looking for?

Take  on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new, cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of professionals.

You'll play a vital role in supporting the launch of a new product into production, ensure compliance with local technical regulations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams such as Production and suppliers, Engineering, Project, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing a certification strategy as well as setting up a delivery plan to keep up with the project schedule.

We’ll look to you for: 

  • Support WCA regulations officer and the design team to properly allocate certification requirements.
  • Develop a certification strategy and set up a delivery plan to keep up with the project schedule.
  • Pre-engage local certification bodies to anticipate any risks.
  • Ensuring timely conformity verification with safety requirements for electric locomotives and their components.
    Managing certification/declaration applications for products — from the application preparation stage to obtaining the certificate/registration of the declaration. This includes organizing testing (and attending tests as an observer when required), as well as participating as the Company’s representative during certification audits and periodic production assessments.
  • Interaction with Certification Bodies and Government authorities within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
  • Providing methodological and advisory support to Company employees on matters related to conformity assessment.

  • Higher technical education, specialization in Mechanical Engineering/Railway Transport/Certification.
  • Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation.
  • Deep knowledge of the certification process according to TRCU (ТР ТС) 001
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Fluent English and readiness for business trips to India
  • Technical acumen
