Overview

Specific responsibilities of the role:

· Manage RAM project activities on Tender, Design and Operational Phase (Analysis, documentation, training, customer requirements, etc) according CENELEC 50126.

· Make Design recommendations based on RAM studies (‘Design for Reliability’, ‘Design for Maintainability’, ‘Design for Testability’…) and check the adherence of the architecture choices to System and Customers’ RAM targets;

· Perform reliability and KPI calculations, develop reliability models, and apply statistical analysis (both descriptive and inferential).

· Analyze complex solution architectures and perform Reliability and Lifetime predictions, by utilizing conventional RAM techniques such as Reliability Block Diagrams, RAM predictions, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis, Availability & Service Reliability modelling, Degraded modes analysis and conduct Maintainability and Testability analysis;

· Serves as the technical interface with the customer for RAM deliverables.

· Consolidates contributions from internal and external stakeholders to fulfill RAM obligations.

Qualifications & Experience

- Competencies - Engineering University Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or similar.

- Previous experience:

o Mandatory:

§ Technical knowledge on RAM aspects, ideally on Railway Signalling applications.

§ Technical knowledge on CENELEC 50126 and IEC TR 62278.

§ Working in diverse and international environment.

§ Team player and proactive behavior.

§ Knowledge with RAM Analysis and Modeling: RBD, Markov, etc.

§ Knowledge with FMEA, FRACAS, RCA analysis.

§ Knowledge with RAM modeling and degraded modes, and advanced statistical skills.

- Language skills –

o English (working level as a minimum), other languages as applicable.
