Could you be the full-time Site Quality Manager (Construction) – SIG & COM Activities in Abidjan we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in quality management and supervision of complex construction sites in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and dedicated teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement in our processes while ensuring customer satisfaction and project compliance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including engineering, installation, commissioning, and testing, to ensure the quality of our SIG (signalling) and COM (telecommunications) projects. You’ll also act as a key point of contact for our clients and external partners.

You’ll specifically take care of managing on-site quality, leading quality inspector teams, and ensuring the compliance of deliverables, but also managing non-conformities and coordinating quality hold points.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Establishing, deploying, and updating the Quality Control Plan tailored to SIG & COM site-specific requirements.

  • Supervising and managing Quality Inspectors (QI), assigning tasks, and validating inspection reports.

  • Conducting and/or overseeing site inspections and audits to verify the compliance of installations and deliverables.

  • Organising and coordinating quality hold points and on-site material acceptance.

  • Managing non-conformities (opening, tracking, closure) and ensuring the effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Collaborating with engineering teams to validate and integrate changes into quality documentation.

  • Facilitating on-site problem resolution using tools such as 8D and 5 Why methodologies.

  • Capturing lessons learned and proposing improvements to quality processes.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A degree in engineering or an equivalent field such as electronics, computer science, automation, electrical engineering, or rail systems.

  • At least 5 years of experience in project or site quality management, ideally within the railway sector.

  • Experience managing construction sites for complex systems (signalling, telecommunications, automation).

  • Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and CENELEC (EN 50126/8/9 for rail safety).

  • Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, and control plans.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

  • Fluency in English, given our international environment.

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.

  • Work with passionate and skilled teams in their respective fields.

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.

  • Contribute to innovative and high-impact projects.

  • Utilise our collaborative and innovation-driven working environment.

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning programs.

  • Progress towards leadership roles or technical expertise positions, depending on your aspirations.

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).
