Could you be the full-time D&IS Project Quality Controller in Abidjan we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality assurance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Installation, Construction, and Test & Commissioning (T&C) activities meet the highest quality standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Field Operations, Engineering, and Quality & Safety), conduct inspections to verify compliance, and maintain quality documentation, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of on-site inspections and quality compliance for signalling systems, including Interlocking, ATS, ATC, Field Equipment, Cables & Telecom, and on-board equipment (retrofit), but also contribute to readiness reviews and manage quality documentation and traceability.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Performing site inspections to verify installation, construction, and T&C conformity based on project requirements.
-
Executing warehouse, yard, and material inspections to validate reception, handling, and storage conditions.
-
Ensuring product-based inspections for D&IS product lines, such as cable routing, wayside equipment installation, and telecom cabinets.
-
Recording inspection outcomes in project repositories and maintaining quality documentation.
-
Supporting the preparation of Quality Dossiers and As-Built documentation.
-
Participating in joint inspections with installation teams, subcontractors, and customers.
-
Managing punch lists and supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
-
Contributing to readiness reviews for activities like handovers and T&C phases.
-
Anticipating and reporting issues and risks while ensuring compliance and non-conformity closure performance.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
-
Technical-level education (mandatory).
-
Railway or industrial experience (desirable).
-
At least 2 years of quality inspection experience in construction, installation, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
-
Knowledge of Quality Control inspection processes, including ITPs, checklists, and readiness checks.
-
Experience with Quality Standards (e.g., ISO9001) and Quality audits (appreciated).
-
Familiarity with operational activities and awareness of processes and products delivered in projects.
-
Strong attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
-
Clear and structured communication abilities, including with customers, subcontractors, and partners.
-
Proficiency in documentation management and digital tools.
-
Proactive mindset and ability to work in challenging on-site environments.
