Could you be the full-time Security and Fleet Management Coordinator in Abidjan we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your security and fleet management expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside proactive and collaborative teammates.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and operational efficiency of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project management, consortium partners, local authorities), develop and implement security measures, and oversee our vehicle fleet operations.

You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing security measures and managing the fleet’s compliance and performance, but also ensure continuous improvement across both domains.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Assessing threats and identifying security risks for the project.
  • Defining and implementing relevant security measures in liaison with the consortium.
  • Ensuring compliance with Group Security policies and updating the Project Security Plan.
  • Providing advice and recommendations on security issues to the Project Director.
  • Creating and maintaining a local security network (providers, authorities, police).
  • Managing and controlling project security providers and supervising daily operations.
  • Overseeing the overall management of the vehicle fleet (tracking, allocation, maintenance).
  • Monitoring and optimizing fleet-related costs and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Raising awareness among drivers on best practices and implementing eco-driving initiatives.
  • Managing incidents, accidents, and insurance claims related to the fleet.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Security Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience or understanding of security risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of fleet management best practices, including maintenance planning and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory and safety requirements.
  • A certification in security or fleet management (e.g., CPP, CISM, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Work with innovative security and fleet management solutions.
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
  • Contribute to impactful projects that enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Utilise our inclusive and flexible working environment.
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning.
  • Progress towards senior security or fleet management roles.
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
