Could you be the full-time Ingénieur Installation Equipement de dépôt (DEQ) in Abidjan we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and coordination expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful installation of depot equipment (DEQ) while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and ethics.

Based at Sagbé, our depôt, you will work closely with teams across the business (suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers), ensure compliance with Alstom standards, and oversee the progress of installation works, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of supervising installation works and managing resources, but also ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Verifying the compliance of civil engineering works with Alstom requirements before handover.

  • Preparing the 4-week forecast schedule for DEQ installation activities.

  • Ensuring the availability of necessary documents, human resources, materials, and tools for work execution.

  • Supervising installation activities carried out by suppliers and subcontractors according to established procedures.

  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom EHS, safety, ethics, and quality standards on-site.

  • Overseeing the maintenance and safety of installed equipment.

  • Managing the stock of tools, consumables, and equipment rentals for installation works.

  • Leading site teams (technicians and workers) for installation, maintenance, and training activities.

  • Monitoring and tracking the progress of works to meet project milestones.

  • Defining and implementing corrective measures in case of non-conformities, in collaboration with the quality engineer.

  • Providing regular updates to the DEQ project manager.

  • Producing installation documentation, such as work permits, installation reports, records, and as-built drawings.

  • Drafting maintenance and training documentation for installed equipment based on supplier data.

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • At least 3 years experience in construction domain
  • Experience or understanding of installation and supervision processes in an industrial or construction environment.

  • Has experience in field operation ensuring the availabiltity of ressources on site (men, tools, material) & that safety and quality standards are met
  • Familiarity with resource planning and project scheduling tools.

  • A certification in project management or quality management.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
