Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your quality management and coordination expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a dedicated and collaborative team of inspectors and technical experts.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of external controls during the system works phase of the Abidjan metro project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business—including Alstom, Colas Rail, and subcontractors—while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, coordinating inspections, and driving continuous improvement in quality management.

You’ll specifically take care of developing the external control and inspection plans, but also validating inspection reports and managing non-conformities.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining and implementing the external control strategy and inspection plans

  • Ensuring mandatory control points (e.g., hold points, critical points) are identified and respected

  • Coordinating inspection schedules and document reviews

  • Validating inspection reports and monitoring corrective actions

  • Supervising audits of processes and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards

  • Managing non-conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-ups

  • Preparing quality dashboards, monthly reports, and risk mitigation plans

  • Promoting continuous improvement by analyzing recurring issues and implementing structural actions

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Railway Signalling Systems, or Systems Engineering

  • Experience or understanding of quality management in projects

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality assurance processes

  • Familiarity with site supervision, control plans, and inspection processes

  • A certification in quality management or auditing

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and anticipate project needs

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Work with new quality and safety standards for rail signalling projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative and impactful infrastructure projects

  • Utilise our dynamic and inclusive working environment

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
