Join us as an Operations Quality Inspector, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Kingston, Ontario.

 

As an Operations Quality Inspector, you will execute the inspections at various points in the value chain and usually focuses on electro-mechanical, sometimes repetitive tasks within the role. In case of no conformity they have the responsibility to raise an NCR in the appropriate ERP-System to ensure that containment action is initiated in order that the impact on production is minimized.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Execute inspections at various points in the value chain;
  • Report and documentation related to the inspections;
  • Raise non-conformance reports in the ERP-system;
  • Initiate and support prioritization of problems and problem-solving process;
  • Support feedback to workers in case of major or recurring quality problems.

 

Key requirements:

 

  • Typically three (3) to five (5) years experience in a relevant role;
  • Understanding of basic Quality skills such as standards, tools, documentation control, configuration management and change management;
  • Good knowledge of the relevant ERP and SAP Systems;
  • Understanding of product and logistic requirements;
  • Accurate in initial evaluation and documentation of conformance to requirements and potential causes;
  • Excellent English communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
