Could you be the full-time BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator for Rail Systems in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and coordination expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration and alignment of rail system disciplines within a unified BIM environment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across engineering, design, and project delivery, managing interfaces between rail systems and infrastructure, and driving digital project delivery in line with global standards.
You’ll specifically take care of BIM coordination for rail systems, including Overhead Catenary System (OCS), traction power, signaling, and track geometry, but also ensure high-quality BIM standards and effective multidisciplinary integration.
We’ll look to you for:

Executing BIM coordination activities across rail system disciplines

Developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Model Production and Delivery Tables (MPDT), and information requirements

Reviewing and verifying models for technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness in compliance with ISO 19650.

Coordinating interfaces between rail systems, stations, depots, and civil infrastructure

Conducting clash detection, clearance analysis, and proactive issue resolution

Supporting data exchanges and interoperability between Autodesk and Bentley platforms

- 2 years of post-secondary education in Mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in similar role

Previous experience of BIM for rail infrastructure project specifically

Knowledge of rail Overhead Catenary System (OCS), traction power, signaling systems, and track geometry

Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards, BIM deliverables and digital engineering workflows

Full proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks

Strong technical coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret engineering design intent and reflect it accurately in BIM models

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $98,193 – $105,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
