SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair and documentation associated with production equipment and facilities. Responsibilities will extend to other facilities as needed. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, install, service and repair Manufacturing Assembly Equipment and assist in other production and facility support functions
  • Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair and documentation associated with production equipment and facilities
  • Responsibilities will extend to other facilities as needed
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, outside equipment vendors, management and peers 
  • Track equipment parameters/problems and assist in capital expenditure justifications using maintenance related software packages

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in areas of HVAC (heating, ventilation & Air Conditioning)
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical functions in relation to analysis, diagnosis, and repair of equipment problems
  • Machine shop experience including knowledge of safe operation of vertical mill, lathe, drill press and band saw
  • Welding experience
  • Basic computer skills


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and blueprints.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex mechanical issues
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
