Could you be the Summer worker in Logistics, in Västerås, we’re looking for?

The summer work will take 3 months to complete, on-site.

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your knowledge in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Warehouse & Transport Manager and work alongside supportive and motivated teammates.

You'll work together with the Logistic teams: warehouse, logistics engineering and transport teams. Also, you’ll focus on optimization of logistics flows, to always keep the physical and systems flows aligned.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensure inbound shipments are handled in compliance with Alstoms OTD rules.
  • Ensure correct transaction and reception data is processed in SAP/GSI.
  • Work with Logistics standards for physical material flow (goods reception, warehousing, picking, line feeding, inventory, and shipping).
  • Ensure the inventory process is in compliance with Alstom standard rules.

 

All about you

  • Studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Forklift certification is necessary.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
