Our site of Petite-Forêt is looking for his next Bid Leader (M/F) for our Component Development Site Interiors (CDSi)

 

Position in the Organization :

Hierarchical reporting: Bids Manager / Center of Excellence Interiors

  • Internal customers : Bid Manager, Bid Technical Manager, Train Design Engineer, Tender Sourcing Manager, Tender Leader, Costing Manager.

 

  • Other stakeholders : Bids Manager (Center of Excellence), Engineering Manager (Center of Excellence), Sourcing Manager (Center of Excellence) Project Managers (Center of Excellence), Cost Manager (Center of Excellence), Design & Style, Commodity Managers, Work Package Owners, Department Heads, Platform teams, Reference Libraries Managers, Finance, Legal, Tax, Tender control, Product & Strategy.

 

Objectives :

To deliver a winning bid, with a clear scope, with accurate QCDT commitments, in a timely manner and within the defined tender budget that will result in a clearly defined and profitable contract.

 

Performance measurement :

  • Winning profitable bid
  • Gap between Tender Transfer Meeting and Project results (Detailed budget analysis when all BA-Business Award- finished and HOM-Hand Over Meeting-)
  • Compliance with Tender schedule
  • Compliance with Tender cost budget
  • Respect of Alstom Transport procedures

 

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that all the elements necessary for a proposal are delivered.
  • Define, lead, and manage the Tender Team
  • Take overall responsibility for Tender Management Processes
  • Drive and make decisions for issues that impact at a tender level
  • Ensure that QCDT commitments exist for all work-packages
  • Manage convergence of all work-packages as an integrated whole to meet QCDT commitment
  • Highlight and anticipate all potential risks and identify savings and opportunities during tender phase
  • Manage tender budget and deadline
  • Closely support the Director and the Bids Manager of Center of Excellence in his/her role as primary contact with the internal client
  • Identify compliance/non-compliance of proposal versus customer requirements and product strategy

 

Knowledge & Experience :

  • Up to 5 yrs experience in a costing, engineering or quality position. Engineering degree/Business school.
  • Knowledge of standard technical solutions and railway interiors parts.
  • Ability to prioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet the deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with internal customers
  • Able to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization structure.
  • English mandatory
