As a field modification coordinator you will provide on-site maintenance technical support, support services tenders and projects of the propulsion equipment in the warranty phase of the project. Your work will involve supporting our teams to solve critical propulsion issues, and communicating with our customers on resolution plans. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Services Engineering and Platforms teams to improve the Services portfolio of products and services
- Optimizing the scope and related tasks of the maintenance plan
- Leading cost reduction actions, with sourcing and industrial
- Detecting, defining and implementing modifications of the maintained products to improve the reliability and serviceability
- Proposing innovative solutions and develops and implements R&D programs and new technologies in the maintenance projects
- Analyzing the technical performances of the systems and the efficiency of the maintenance plan and processes, promoting action plans to improve them
- Promoting the use of latest maintenance technics and R&D developments
- Analyzing failure criticality studies and uses RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and other available methodologies to define and optimize the maintenance requirements, tasks and intervals
- Integrating data coming from Operations (Return on Experience)
Your success will be determined by your ability to improve train reliability and availability and driving for improved customer satisfaction. You will need to bring a exceptional skills, not only technically, but also in collaboration, communication and problem solving.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Railway, System Application, or related engineering discipline
- Willingness and ability to travel for work
- Availability to work a varied schedule to support issue resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of rolling stock maintenance
- Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related is required
- Equivalent Combination of education and experience may be considered
Salary Range: $95,000 - 120,000
