The main tasks of the Global Supply Chain department are :

 

Ensure operational performance by implementing the various processes.
Develop the Supply Chain business to support regional growth.
Promote the Supply Chain professions and associated skills.
Develop local teams and ensure collaboration between regions.
 

JOB OBJECTIVES :

As part of the Logistics team, you will be responsible for:

Helping to drive performance.
Developing the skills of the network.
Supporting the implementation of processes to improve logistics flows.
 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

After being trained in the basics of the job, the apprentice will have the following main tasks:

Performance management: Consolidate data to measure the performance of logistics activities

Document the rules for calculating these logistics indicators

Checking logistics indicators (in particular the consistency between manual and automatic values) Implementing tools for communicating/animating these indicators with the various Alstom sites

Provide user support for performance management and business intelligence tools, and contribute to their development in conjunction with the IT teams.

 

Logistics development: Drafting documents (instructions, procedures, templates) useful to logistics sites in their operations (analysis of inventory discrepancies, etc.) Updating standard documents as required (logistics specifications, etc.)


Participate in the packaging database 


Skills management and training: Participating in and setting up an e-learning training module linked to the business lines for new recruits (services and maintenance, infrastructure and systems installation activities).

 

Developing site skills by setting up training programmes (from identifying needs to carrying out training and measuring its effectiveness).

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :

5 years' higher education or Master's degree

Languages: French / fluent English required

Previous experience in a company in the rail sector or similar (automotive, aerospace, etc.) in a Purchasing / Supply Chain / Production department would be an advantage

Good knowledge of IT tools - Advanced knowledge of Excel required

Knowledge of ERP SAP (MM and WM module) would be a plus

 

Location: Saint Ouen (93), company headquarters
