RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position in the Organization Reports To: Electronic Repair Manager in Electronic Lab.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with electronic equipment, including parts replacement, rewiring, and recalibrating.
• Maintaining proper records of all repairs and services performed on equipment.
• Expertise in rework of cards with hand soldering, Dip soldering , Soldering and de-soldering during repair of BGA, DIP etc.
• Maintaining and updating an inventory of spare parts, equipment, and essential tools for effective repairs and services.
• Ensuring the safety of all equipment and personnel involved during repair and maintenance tasks.
• Collect and validate different Technical attributes for electronic components.
• Excellent understanding of Electronic circuits & components eg. FPGA, Mosfet, Processor , IC’s.
• Identify the root cause of tester failures and procured correct configuration parts such as  NI chassis, I/O cards, power supplies oscilloscopes, multimeter, Frequency Generator for testers .
• Drive Change Management Process for Electronic Product – corrections, corrective actions, preventive actions
• Able to propose the improvement for test bench and test strategy for faster / smarter debugging & RCA
• Repairs testers, fixtures in accordance with the fault logging and down time system.  Responsibility for diagnosing the fault and cause of fault and driving appropriate corrective actions to ensure minimal reoccurrence of failures.
• Documents all repairs and improvements on test equipment’s.
• Controls and maintains the equipment maintenance and calibration system in accordance with ISO requirements.  Responsibility for scheduling and execution of maintenance on time and to the correct standards.
• Responsibility for development of Preventative maintenance program development for each element of test equipment.
• Controls and maintains the part numbering system for all test equipment's and spares and will be responsible for establishing a min/max level for all spares required.

EHS

• Responsible for uphold site safety, including reporting of any unsafe acts, process/procedure deviation

Quality

• To be member of quality RCA analysis
• Lead critical failure 8D report

Performance

• Provide real time updates to the Electronic Repair Manager on work progress against the agreed plan
• Ensure that all worksheets are correctly provided to the required standard
• Ensure that the team follow the standard processes and conform to those standards on the job.

Team Communication

• Conduct regular informal discussions with team members.
• Provide regular feedback on team / individual performance.
• Be proactive in seeking views and input from team members.

Team Continuous Improvement

• Take a proactive approach to support Electronic Repair Manager in understanding and resolving team issues.
• Demonstrate an awareness of continuous improvement
• Carry out audit of processes to ensure feedback from team members to continually improve the process or procedures.
• Support the team to identify process changes and implement smarter ways of working
• Ensure 5S is fully implemented
• Ensure Special process compliance and SES exécution

EDUCATION

• Min Diploma Regular course Electronics and Communication Engineering.
