Could you be the full-time Discipline Engineer Calculation in Sahagun, MX we're looking for?

 

Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your Mechanical Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field.

As our new Discipline Engineer Calculation, you'll play a key role in leading the way to greener and smarter mobility. You’ll be responsible for performing calculation activities and producing associated deliverables in compliance with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments. You'll also model and store allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems or components in Digital Mock-Up. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing detailed design on internal sub-systems, filling up attributes for each part in Digital Mock-Up, verifying the consistency of digital mock-up, preparing and documenting mechanical domain design reviews, updating Digital Mock-Up taking into account change requests, checking CADs' and sub-contractors design quality, realizing stack-up analysis, and realizing bill of material.

 

We'll look to you for: 

  • Perform detailed design on internal sub-systems. 
  • Fill up attributes for each part in Digital Mock-Up. 
  • Verify consistency of digital mock-up. 
  • Prepare and document mechanical domain design reviews. 
  • Update Digital Mock-Up taking into account change requests. 
  • Check CADs' and sub-contractor's design quality. 
  • Realize stack-up analysis. 
  • Realize bill of material.

 

All about you:

  • A Mechanical Engineering degree 
  • 3-5 years of experience 
  • Working knowledge of CATIA 
  • Experience performing Finite element analysis (FEA) 
  • Good communications skills in Spanish and English both written and spoken.
