We are looking for a Material Planner to be based in Oslo.

 

Alstom is the biggest supplier of trains in Norway with roots going back 100 years. Approximately 1/3 of Norway’s total fleet of passenger trains (approx. 250 trains) are produced by Alstom. The enrolment of Alstom’s onboard ERTMS system on approximately 380 trains will contribute to making the Norwegian railway network more efficient and reliable, reducing delays for passengers and freight services while guaranteeing the highest levels of safety.

 

What will you do?

As a Material Planner, you will follow up on the deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects, Monitor supplier’s performance KPI and Contribute to the project SC objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are in line with these objectives.

 

This is a Fixed-term position for 24 Months.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage your Supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at the right time, quantity and place based on Alstom's needs.
  • Express delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to the governance of the Supplier's delivery performances.
  • Drive action plans for performance improvement & contribute to risk management.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

Who are you?

  • Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Experience working in supply chain
  • Experience with ERP systems

 

As a person, you have a curious mindset and are enthusiastic to work proactively on your projects. You have excellent team working and communications skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
