Could you be the full-time Power Manager in New York we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your power & electronics expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Joseph M. Hunt, Director - Deputy and work alongside exceptional, enthusiastic and collaborative teammates.

You'll be creating great value as you lead a shift of Power and Electronics Technicians in performing preventative and corrective maintenance. Day-to-day, you’ll monitor and measure employees’ performance against performance objectives, safety rules, work standards, and operating procedures and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of a team of technicians, as you coach and develop employees to provide the appropriate level of quality, quantity, and behaviours in their assigned duties.

 

We’ll look to you to:

 

  • Create effective relationships with managers, peers, subordinates, and clients by displaying conduct that inspires trust and respect and reflects a shared purpose in achieving the organization’s goals. Collaborate across departments to effectively manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans, emergencies, and other events that affect revenue service
  • Develop and approve High Voltage Electrical Work Permits
  • Assist with SQF Performance and Compliance; perform performance analysis and recommend improvement opportunities

  • Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree + Experience
  • 5+ years experience with Power and Electronics
  • 3+ years of people management experience

Salary Range: 130,000-140,000$
