Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial expertise in the sustainable mobility field of trains! You’ll report to Pär Rohman Industrial Manager in Motala and work alongside a team of industrial engineers and technicians to ensure the best possible production opportunities.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the various functions at the Motala site such as production team, engineering, quality, supply chain, and the customer to make sure we perform our work in most efficient, safe, ergonomic, and sustainable ways and with clear instructions.

We’ll look to you for:

· Leading the planning and industrial responsibilities on the Motala site.

· Industrialization of upcoming work and improvement of ongoing work in terms of instructions, bills of materials, tools, and work sequencing.

· Plan and lead industrial validation activities.

· Defining and pushing for a standard way of working and continuous improvement.

· DEGREE IN OR PASSION FOR Industrial Engineering (production/manufacturing engineering)

· Experience or understanding of the railway industry or other transportation/travel industries.

· Knowledge of technical experience of industrial engineering: writing, and improving manufacturing and/or maintenance work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, tooling management, and work sequencing.

· Familiarity with industrial data management in asset management systems (preferably SAP).

· Fluent in English and Swedish.
