Could you be the full-time Raporting and Budget Senior Controller in Katowice we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial expertise in a new cutting-edge field.

 

You’ll ensure that the preparation of the budget and forecasts is accurate and completed on time, in line with the ALSTOM accounting manual and  financial instructions also ensure involvement of budget owners at all level to secure ownership of the new financial targets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with a team of Liaise with other finance expert functions on need basis (e.g. Treasury and Financing, Internal Audit & Risk Management, Accounting and Finance efficiency, etc.).

 

You will also diligently and professionally manage the financial accounts of the Project (on and/or off shore scope) in execution and until FAC or formalized handover and supporting the Project Manager (and other project functions) as the finance partner.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Ensure month end closing is performed in line with the timetable and ensure correctness of the figures impacting P&L and especially over/under absorption
  • Preparation of  analysis/reports after Month End Closing linked to cost centers/Direct Hours/ over/under absorption
  • Analysis of variances between actual costs vs budget
  • Responsible for Cost Centers budgeting,
  • Calculation of hourly rates during budget process,
  • Over/Under absorption monitoring
  • Monitoring the correctness of direct hours reporting
  • Build a business partnership by supporting all levels of management for financial matters and performance monitoring
  • Be a sponsor of actions to improve results and meet targets
  • Liaise with other finance expert functions on need basis (e.g. Treasury and Financing, Internal Audit & Risk Management, Accounting and Finance efficiency, etc.).
