MAIN MISSIONS :
 

Within the Procurement - Digital Transformation & Process Efficiency department, you will be involved in the implementation of a digitalization plan for the purchasing function. Your mission will be to support the Sourcing Business Process Owner teams in the overhaul of their data management system on the global purchasing scope of ALSTOM Group.

 

Full member of the project teams, your main missions will be:

  • Understanding of business use cases
  • Formalization of the need through specifications
  • Data analysis and transformation
  • Proposal of analysis and valuation models
  • Implementation of new methodological and technological solutions for data processing

 

In addition, under the responsibility of the Business Intelligence & Data owner of the department, you will also be called upon for more cross-functional missions during which:

  • You collect or identify the needs of operational customers (production, purchasing, transport, planning and supplies).
  • You illustrate these issues using data and propose indicators highlighting the improvements to be made.
  • You implement improvement projects with the operational teams in the field in complete autonomy


In general, you will bring additional value to the Purchasing and Procurement professions which will allow them to increase their operational and financial performance. Throughout your VIE program, you will be able to develop skills in project management as well as in data analysis.

PROFILE :

  • Bac+5 in an engineering school or master's degree with a data specialization, ideally with knowledge of the world of purchasing and/or having past experience as alternee
  • Strong programming skills such as Tableau, QlikSense, Qlikview, Power BI, ... and database management language (SQL)
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve problems creatively
  • Competence in data mining
  • Competence in data extraction
  • Ability to restore, highlight and explain its results
  • Fluency in English
  • Project management skills, knowledge of the purchasing world, and/or a real taste for data science would be a plus.
  • Rigour, oral and written fluency
  • Involvement and ability to work in a team
  • Autonomy, agility and creativity
