Could you be the full-time Product Cost Analytics Specialist in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

As a Product Cost Analytics Specialist in the Cost Optimization team, you will report directly to the Product Cost Platform Leader based in Cluj-Napoca. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with Systems Product Cost Engineers to develop innovative costing tools and solutions for our extensive costing network.

 

Your primary responsibilities will involve designing and creating new databases based on business requirements, ensuring data integrity and security. Additionally, you will update and maintain existing databases, optimize performance, and implement necessary updates. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify data requirements, define data models, and implement efficient and scalable database solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure minimal downtime and efficient data access for end-users.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Creating BI solution for Train Commodities (Toilets, Floor, Glazing, Gangways Seats)
  • Design and create new databases based on business requirements, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
  • Continuously update and maintain existing databases, including performing data cleansing, implementing backup and recovery procedures, to ensure data accuracy and availability
  • Optimize database performance through regular performance tuning activities, including indexing, query optimization, and other relevant techniques.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, providing regular updates, seeking feedback, and addressing any concerns or issues related to database design, performance, and usability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient data access for end-users
  • Implement efficient and scalable database solutions that meet the identified data requirements, ensuring seamless data access and usability for end-users.
  • Adhere to data quality standards by performing data cleansing, validation, and error handling within databases to ensure high-quality and reliable data.

  • Fluent in English with an international background.

  • Open-minded and user-oriented, with the ability to understand and translate the needs of different domains into data-driven tools or models.
  • Dynamic, proactive, rigorous, and structured approach to work.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in costing methodologies and functional analysis (Should Cost / Could Cost) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, VBA, ERP systems (preferable), and Qlik package (preferable), Python (preferable).
