Could you be the full-time Data Analyst in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your data analysis expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Bastien Cattelain (Head of Performance & Continuous Improvement) and support the Performance and Continuous Improvement team from Crespin, France, but with home-base in Cluj and the Site overall about their needs for data mining and analysis above all.

 

The role is considered as a major asset towards leveraging the possibilities of improvements and problem solving which can be harvested through proper exploitation and visualization of data from our information systems. It is set to directly contribute to overcoming our challenges, solving our issues, and improving our performance: having a clear impact on our execution and performance.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Develop your expertise on Data Management: data mining, analysis, and reporting in close collaboration with the team members (continuous improvement experts, IPDM / GSI key users); acquire fluency on Data Management tools and leverage these skills at the support of this team and of the site overall.
  • Collecting, analyzing, reporting of the site key performance indicators (balanced score card): individual collection and/or compilation of the local stakeholders’ data;
  • Reviewing, improving, simplifying, solving issues on all these activities, for instance in terms of tool usage and digitalization; 
  • Depending on the profile, aspirations and capabilities, accessibility to various other tasks and development possibilities (Lean management, Problem solving, GSI and satellite tools…).

  • Education: preferably a degree in Finance, Procurement, IT or Business & Administration or equivalent;
  • Foreign Languages: English – mandatory at a proficient level; French – would represent an advantage;
  • Reporting and Governance background; 
  • Advanced level on Advanced Excel (complex formula and pivot).
  • At minimum appetite and eagerness to gain expertise - at best advanced level / expertise already in place – for at least one Data mining and visualization / reporting tool: Power BI, Qlik Sense.
  • Knowledge on Sharepoint, SQL queries, Power App and Power Automate as a plus.
  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams);
  • Rigor and professionalism towards back-office and administrative tasks;
  •  Written communication skills, supportive and proactive spirit, good interpersonal relationships;
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Crespin (eg a handful of days a quarter);
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean principles and tools (Problem solving, KPIs and all other relevant CI tools) would be a plus;
  • Familiarity with some of our standard tools such as GSI, AOS, Inspire… would be a plus.
