Could you be the full-time Platform Screen Doors Testing & Commissioning Engineer in Egypt we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your PS&D T&C expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

You will be involved in preparing and executing on-site testing and commissioning activities. You are required to work closely with contractors to manage and monitor the project deliverables as well as ensuring the safety, quality, and progress of the project works.

You’ll specifically take care of delivering Turnkey project, making sure they align with contractual requirements and customer expectations. 

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supervise the PS&D subcontractor in the execution of the T&C procedures of power supply and distribution equipment and log the test result and eventual anomalies.
  • Attend and supervise the test reporting, ensuring correctness and completeness.
  • Report to PS&D T&C manager for activities assignment, anomalies detected during test execution and any other organization issue.
  • Provide to Alstom PS&D T&C manager a clear and accurate reporting of the test progress

  • EHS minded, aware of the electrical risks and able to ensure the safety of not electrical minded persons working in an electrical environment.
  • Aware of the electrical risks and able to ensure the safety of not electrical minded persons working in an electrical environment.
  • Experience in performing T&C for Medium Voltage (MV) equipments or maintenance activities on electrical systems.
  • Experience in Railway traction System is preferred
  • Knowledge on PLC/Server operation
  • Able to perform Shift duties (working at night included)
