Could you be the full-time OCC traffic controller in Egypt we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

 

  • Monitor’s traffic and be accountable for train movements within set area of responsibility, ensuring the quality of operations (punctuality, availability, regularity) and operation safety in nominal and degraded situations. Records events into the logbook and/or the specific program provided, ensure the process execution in nominal and degraded modes.

More specifically, the OCC traffic controller Will:

  • Monitoring and control of train(s)/MIV movements.
  • Monitors CCTV regulates traffic and coordinates actions with EONP and T&C managers.
  • Controls and manages the power supply system (processing and distribution of high, medium, and low voltage and traction) for the line and depot.
  • The OCC traffic controller will perform his duty according to the instructions provided by the OCC manager/TOM.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Communication or Electrical Engineering;
  • Minimum 5 Years’ Experience in similar role in railway project is a mandatory title.
  • Aware of the railway operation risks, related to electrical and train movement environment.
  • Fluent in the English and Arabic languages.
  • Very good in Computer skills and dealing with specific programs.
