We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER in our Service Signalling Business Unit.

 

JOB SCOPE:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the contracts’ management and interface with customers for the projects in scope of Services Signalling BU: technical Assistance and maintenance of railway signalling systems for Italian and international market.

In addition to Customers and Suppliers, there will be interfaces with other Alstom functions, such as: Industrial, Engineering, Finance, Bid & Sales and Quality.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Guarantee that activities will be deployed with compliance with current legislation and Alstom Policies

  • Guarantee the respect of contractual milestones and planning defined by projects in scope

  • Organize meetings with Customers in order to check the progress of projects and identify improvements or new business opportunities

  • Deliver reporting as per defined process and analyse financial KPI and QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance

  • Contribute to “Continuous Improvement” process, through definition and implementation of Projects Action Plan

  • Support Budget development and revenue plan control

  • Guarantee respect of EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) laws and rules/regulations

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MS Degree in Engineering (Management, Electronics, IT, Telecommunications, Mechanical) or Economy

  • At least 3 yrs of experience in the same role in structured companies

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP

  • Working knowledge of financial and business principles

  • Knowledge of Contract Management principles

  • Knowledge of railway market will be preferable

  • Capability to work by objectives in complex organizations

  • English: professional knowledge

 

 

JOB LOCATION:

We can hire in our sites of Bologna, Florence or Rome.

It is required availability to travel in Italy and abroad
