Could you be the full/part-time Project Material Manager Lead (f/m/d) in Berlin we’re looking for?

 

Your Future Role

Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom's DACH regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalisation. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Cynthia Sharp and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

 

We’ll look for you to :

  • Coordinate, consolidate and secure QCD ( Quality Cost Delivery) commitments within the Material Scope in Project Execution

  • Manage industrial scope assigned by the project ensuring that the products are delivered to the project stakeholders (Installation, Engineering, Customer,) according to project QCD commitments.

  • Ensure that the Project Execution is aligned to the Procurement Platform Objectives with regards material scope.

  • Contribute to tender phase, especially on Project Industrial Organization and Make or Buy Industrial scheme to take into account industrial constraints and requirements in order to optimize material flow, costs and minimize risks.

  • Understand the Project Procurement Strategy to ensure it is fulfilled during execution and part of the Project Management Plan Ensure the Project Procurement strategy is shared, understood, applied by the procurement teams and the Sub-System Managers /Project Manager.

  • University Degree/ Master’s in supply chain management

  • Fluent in English (negotiation level) & German

  • Experience of 10 to 15 years in industrial environment

  • Experience of 10 years in Industrial / Supply Chain

  • Valuable experience in companies of same sector/activity or related

  • Competencies & Skills: Entrepreneurship, Agility, Collaboration, Global vision
