Could you be the full-time Turnkey Tenders Cost Manager in Bangkok we’re looking for?

Our leadership is possible thanks to a highly experienced and strongly committed team of experts based in our HQ offices in St.Ouen and in our Centre of Excellence in Bangkok, made up of engineers, planners, project managers, tender managers and Turnkey Tenders Costing Managers like you. 

 

As a Turnkey Tender Costing Manager you will be the business partner of the Tender Manager/Director in all the aspects related to the turnkey costing and overall pricing of a tender, along the full cycle of the tender process.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting the bid manager in the preparation of the IFQ (Instruction For Quotation), in accordance with pricing strategy.
  • Defining the cost structure for the bid according to RFP (terms and conditions, etc).
  • Collaborating with the tender manager and taxes to define the optimal PIO (Project Industrial Organisation).
  • Leading cost estimation activities based on target cost approach with all participating units and métiers, for all the subsystems involved in the scope.     
  • Preparing the Price submittance to the customer according to the RFP ; this might include our partners prices/costs if we are the leader .
  • Collaborativing work with central Finance team to calculate “other costs” (bonds, financing, hedging, insurance, taxes, etc).
  • Consolidating tender costs commitment as per financial rules.
  • Supporting proactively the bid manager during the tender validation process.
  • Preparing the Costing package for TRM (Tender Review Meeting) (cost analysis/bridges, standard report, cash curve, etc).
  • Leading cost estimation activities for changes discussed with the customer during negotiation phase and update the cost commitment.
  • Transfering tender costing data (with related assumptions) to Project (TTM / Tender Transfer Meeting).    
  • Support on demand the Project team on costing for variation orders.

  • Tender Team (Bid manager, Tender leader, Bid planning manager, Bid technical manager).
  • Tender support and control.
  • Product, Platform  and PUs cost managers.
  • Other functions/ Métiers : Engineering, Finance, Industrial, Sourcing, etc.

  • Customer

  • Degree in Engineering and/or Business School.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industry.
  • Desirable : experience in Railway industry, knowledgeable of costing, in similar industry.
  • Ability to recognize product and associated costs, and understand operational flows (engineering, manufacturing, industrial, etc).
  • Ability to build cost models.
  • Ability to analyze and challenge contributor's commitments.
  • Ability to define cost impact of terms & conditions.
  • Sufficient awareness of financial rules and contractual aspects (bonds & guarantees, etc.
  • Rigor and good analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Curiosity for the product and its environment.
  • Ability to work in network (with Bid manager, Tender leader, other contributors, etc.)
  • Good communication skill (presentations, synthesis, relationship with contributors, etc.)
  • Ability to deliver on-time.
  • Transparency, autonomy, anticipation, initiative, reactivity
