Could you be the full-time Track Switches Engineer in Bangkok we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

 

You'll be E&M Wayside Equipment and Electrical&Mechanical installation design and site execution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business wayside components interfaces to other subsystems and civil construciton, mechanical design for Wayside components as needed and much more.

You’ll specifically responsible to produce Monorail Switch design drawings and required design and installation documents.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Produce design and installation documentation for other Wayside components.
  • Review Civil architectural and M&E drawings and provide feedback to external parties to equipment layouts, cable routing and specific installation requirement.
  • Support all ongoing projects site installation activities.
  • Act as main interface between internal subsystems in regards to Wayside equipment design and installation.
  • Define the installation plan and execution process

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering 
  • Knowledge of Mechanical components and Electronics (industrial)
  • Possesses working knowledge of Engineering principles for equipment mechanical design
  • Knowledge of Civil alignment for transportation system
  • Local and international Mechanical and Electrical codes
  • Able to review and comment architectural drawings and Equipment installation packages (anchoring, cabling etc)
  • Understand Civil M&E installation
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad and CATIA is advantage
  • Working knowledge of international Welding standards and associated experience (preferred knowledge of AWS D 1.5 Welding Code).
