OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Responsible for the definition of the target digital vision and proper execution of all technical aspects of the project, with the aim of ensuring that the digital scope is fully functional, cyber security by design and complies with customer expectations. ​
• The scope of this role includes the complete digital system : onboard, wayside, application, hosting, cybersecurity, data and connectivity, from TTG to FQA (end of warranty). ​

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Capturing, and deriving the allocation of customer requirements incl. SLA, validation acceptance criteria, internal and transversal requirements specifications (including PI/ISR, SERVICE). ​
• Coordinating and approving: ​
  • System and sub-systems architecture and interfaces definition.
  • Design and technical/functional specifications writing/validation.​
  • Technical design documentation production.​
• Leading technical discussion with customer on the digital scope.​
• Working with RAM teams on performance criteria definition and impact on the different sub-system.​
• Coordinating digital development, adaptation, configuration and preparation for integration/deployment including third parties through effective release management
• Ensuring all requirements compliance and cyber security by design
• Alerting and reporting on any event/risks that may impact the system development
• Leading the overall digital integration,  verification and validation strategy definition incl. roles & responsibilities
• Defining the target operating model with PI and ISR teams and all the necessary means to operate digital scope (runbook, training, performance monitoring…)​
• Monitoring digital performance with PI and ISR teams.​
• Defining performance optimization action plan.​

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION

• - BE/B.Tech/M.Tech with 10 to 12 years of software Architecture, design & development experience

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

• Strong Communication and Inter-personnel skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multisite environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining effectiveness and result orientation.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE 

• Experienced in design and deployment methodology (V cycle, SysML, requirement management)
• Experienced in software development in industrial environments (e.g. software development and architecture, cybersecurity, connectivity,..)
• Extensive knowledge about IT cloud architectures & associated technologies  (Azure)
• Experience in SW/IT Tools/technologies : GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitLab-CI, Ansible, Artifactory …
• Experience in Software integration..
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving mindset and decision-making confidence. Interest for system architecture with good capacity of abstraction, technical writing and modeling. ​
• Autonomy and proactivity are a key success factors for this job.
• Preferred from Engineering Captive Units or optional Expertise in IT in the railway industry
• English Fluent

EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

• Mandatory : Design Patterns, Sw Architecture definition and verification, Software System integration, Experience in hosting application on virtual environment and cloud infrastructure services preferably Azure.​
• Optional : Sw programming exp preferably in full stack development of digital application development
• Requirement management and Traceability

• Language Skills: Proficient in English language
