Devops Expert - Azure

Within ALSTOM's IS&T organisation, the position of DevOps Expert is a part  of the Business Partnering team dedicated to the Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) product line.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

• Deploy pre-configured Landing Zones (LZ) for various environments, ensuring efficient and secure provisioning.
• Update existing Landing Zones, including version updates and required modifications.
• Collaborate closely with Developers to configure pipelines to meet specific application needs.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate deployment and scaling processes.
• Collaborate with application installation teams to ensure seamless integration of newly deployed or updated applications.
• Align pipeline execution with application requirements, ensuring proper resource allocation and performance optimization.
• Implement and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation to ensure proper system architecture and configuration.
• Oversee environment provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and management, following best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies.
• Ensure the system is agile, scalable, and resilient, by applying industry best practices.
• Leverage pre-built modules and templates provided by Developers to streamline and automate deployment without the need for extensive coding
• Utilize parameterized input to adapt pipelines to various scenarios, enhancing flexibility and efficiency.

PROFILE & Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in configuring and executing DevOps pipelines.
• Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and principles.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Developers, Architects, and application teams.
• Understanding of application installation and integration processes.
• Familiarity with High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies.
• Ability to adapt and configure pipelines without extensive coding.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
