OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
In the frame of deployment activities for Signaling Projects, the Project system Application Architect shall be the technical referent of the Project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination with Customer to explain the technical solution (presentations/discussions), to conduct design reviews & to resolve the
technical issues.
Specify and implement independently the technical solution [Generic & Project Specific] -Define the global solution/architecture, Technical
choices, functionality at project level.
Provide Technical expertise and review coordinated design with various external system contractors.
Review all major technical specifications [System Requirement specifications, System Architecture, Train movement specifications,
System Operational Context Description, System Configuration Rules] & detailed design [Train characteristics document, Signalling
Scheme Plan, RTI etc.]
Coordinate with all signalling sub system to help defining the technical solution
Participate in Pre-Tendering activities for emerging markets - Meeting Customer to explain ALSTOM CBTC Solution.
During pre-tendering phases, present and defend Alstom Transport solutions to Customers in order to guide Request for Proposals
writings. Participate to Questions & Answers sessions proposed by
Customers
Working as an Tender architect - Identifying Tender requirements, define the GAP & define solution to comply technical requirement
Deciding the architecture & functionalities for the tender design w.r.t the contract & available CBTC Solution baseline.
 

Qualifications & Skills:
Experience of 8 years minimum in Railway Signaling System.
EDUCATION:
Engineering Graduate/ Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Industrial Control systems
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
Rigorous, autonomous, good analytic and synthesis skills.
Good technical coordination (Meetings, CCB, Reviews).
Good communication and reporting skills.
English: written and verbal.

 

Technical Competency & Experience:
Technical knowledge in railway signaling (Priority can be given to the individuals with experience in the CBTC System design)
Knowledge and understanding of Indian railway signaling principles.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders of project and other colleagues

Ability to perform multitasking on need basis
