JOB PURPOSE :

Reporting to the Head of EUC Operations, you will be be responsible for configure & managing NeXthink & EUC tools environment at Alstom.

Experience in the design and deployment of the NeXthink technologies: Windows 10 Operating system, Finder, Collector, ACT & Engage Modules.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Define and configure matrix in Finder, configure – software metering / service module / basic module
Draft and finalize on design working with Operating System, Active Directory, GPO, Applications team
Should be good in troubleshooting and drill down to identify issues using Finder
Good logical diagnostic skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues problems on Windows operating systems
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems with particular emphasis on Windows 10 and Windows 7
Good understanding of CentoOS, MS Server OS
Good knowledge of MFT & BitLocker, design and troubleshoot issues
Monitor the SNOW ticket queues, troubleshoot and resolve tickets
Knowledge on Windows servicing & Windows as a service, Cloud-based endpoint management workloads
Create Low-Level Design Documents, Technical Documentation and Report creation for multiple workplace services
Work closely with Service Desk and Onsite support teams to identify recurrent issues
Work closely with Technical SPOCS, Service owners and also with architects to integrate with other technology solutions
Maintain and enhance engagement with business, IT partners, and other stakeholders for Application management activities
Knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automating daily system administration tasks is preferred
Previous experience in a similar role, supporting a 24x7 corporate level business service including Executive level end users whenever required
Flexibility in managing global processes and being available on-call for emergency situations at all times
Develop and implement high quality support services, knowledge base content, best practices and methodologies
Excellent Communication skills; both oral and written
Have efficient time management, attention to detail and critical thinking skills
 

PROFILE : 

To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:    

Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science or Technology,  should have at least 4-7  years experience in  IT with majority of it in NeXthink Design, Support and troubleshooting. Hands-on  experience with related domain is an added advantage and preffered.
Should have  good communication and vendor management skills to intereact with business across the globe.
Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
Experience in ITIL processes and framework 
Ability to collaborate, influence and motivate cross-functional teams
Team player
Ability and flexibility to adapt to change, including shifting and competing priorities
Demonstrated competency collaborative work  with strong abilities in relationship management.
