Purpose of the job:

Deputy of the Project Planning Manager, responsible to build and update in the scheduling tool the project schedule (internal and customer schedule) according to inputs of the Project Planning Manager, in order to manage efficiently the time commitments of the project (tender, contract).

Main Responsabilities:

In Contract Execution:

  • Build the project schedule based on internal standard Work Breakdown Structure, contractual targets and data provided by the Project Planning Manager
  • Contribute with the Project Planning Manager to Earned Value Management
  • Perform schedule analysis to identify gaps or schedule issues
  • Participate to periodic project schedule sessions
  • Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
  • Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
  • Prepare schedule and progress reports for Customer or Lead Unit or Partners,

In tender:

  • Detail the tender schedule based on reference Library templates, gap analysis, Metiers commitments, and PXO (Project Metiers Organization such as PIO/Project Industrial Organization) tender strategy
  • Highlight the critical path and risks linked to the Project schedule
  • Include the interfaces in the project schedule with the Partners and the Customer
  • Delivery on time all schedule deliverables down to the requested level

For All:

  • Apply the Project Scheduling Process
  • Contribute to the Return of Experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates

 Performance Measurements in contract execution:

  • Baseline approved (Internally and by the Customer)
  • Regular and consistent scheduling updates, with potential delays analysis
  • Standard metrics measuring schedule robustness (PSI)

Performance Measurements in Tenders:

  • On-Time-delivery of all requested tender deliverables requested to fulfil Request For Proposal requirements
  • On-Time-delivery of schedule analysis for decisions by the Tender team: critical paths for main milestones, planning risks, standard metrices measuring schedule robustness
  • List of potential gaps between project schedule defined in tender and Platform Reference Library Schedule

 

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Engineering degree
  • Fluent in Greek & English language
     

Experience

Desirable:

  • Project Scheduling
  • Knowledge of different scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project..)

 

Competencies & Skills  

  • Basic overall knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Agility to juggle with schedules simulations and various scenarios
  • Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker, multi-tasking mode
  • Confortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
