Could you be the full-time Maintenance Engineer in Astana we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your negotiating expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Service Procurement Manager Dina Kalushpayeva, and work alongside passionate and inquisitive teammates.

You'll own the contracting and procurement process for Service business unit in Kazakhstan. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality etc.), contribute to budget optimization and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of negotiating the best terms for contracts with the suppliers, but also contribute to supplier development.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Providing the sourcing commitments for the parts with the best negotiated conditions from suppliers;
  • Defining commodity strategy with the Commodity Manager and implement it;
  • Supporting Domain Director and Commodity Manager in tender phase;
  • Supporting Quality and Supply Chain functions
  • Managing initial issues before escalating to commodity manager.

  1. Understanding of price components and price breakdown;
  2. Strong negotiation background;
  3. Strong communication skills in English, Russian;
  4. Best sourcing practices;
  5. Analytical thinking, advanced Excel user;
  6. Skills in an ERP system, preferrably SAP;
  7. Experience in railway industry is a plus.
